Hey there, I’m Elizabeth.

How I got here
Before anyone called it life coaching, I was doing it. Through the Episcopal Church I spent years in youth ministry and the Journey to Adulthood program, and I kept thinking: if we took the church part out, how much could this open young people up to a life of intention?
In 2012 I hired a coach of my own and saw how the way we think about things creates the results we get. In 2017 I got certified through The Life Coach School.
Then my oldest, Mason, was president of the Interfraternity Council at Colorado School of Mines. After the school lost several students to suicide, he asked me to come coach his fraternity. I felt called to it. One chapter led to the next: Mines, CU Boulder, the University of Minnesota.
Later, coaching women my own age, I kept hearing the same wish: “I just wish someone was there for my adult children.” I’m available, and I can do it. So here we are.
The real me
I live in Washington, DC, with my husband, Brandon, after 12 years in Minnesota. I’m 57, a grandmother, and the mom of three grown-and-flown adults I’m proud of. They’re responsible, kind humans who make their own decisions.
I use every tool I teach, and I have my own coach. My life isn’t perfect, and I don’t pretend it is. I’m happy. When my kids make choices I wouldn’t, I coach myself, because I know they can handle their own lives. When I impose my will on them, that’s when I mess up, and sometimes I do it anyway. Then I forgive myself and get busy repairing the relationship, starting with myself.
Do I have bad days? For sure. That’s 50% of life, and I don’t make them mean something has gone wrong.
Let’s see if we’re a fit.
